Bück, Andreas (Prof. Dr.-Ing.)

Andreas Bück is Associate Professor for Particle Technology in the Department of Chemical and Bioengineering (CBI) at the Friedrich-Alexander-University of Erlangen-Nuremberg (FAU). Andreas holds a Dr.-Ing. (PhD) in Chemical Engineering and a Dipl.-Ing. in Engineering Cybernetics (Control Engineering, both from Otto von Guericke University Magdeburg, Germany). After several years as assistant professor for particle formation processes in fluidized bed processes, he moved to FAU and is heading a research group on solids processing. His main research focuses on the investigation of particle formation processes — drying, granulation, agglomeration, crystallization — as well as development of online/inline measurement techniques and process control schemes for these processes.
Main applications of his work are in the field of pharmaceuticals, food and feed as well as additive manufacturing.
Klupp Taylor, Robin (Prof. Dr.)

Go to Nanostructured Particles Research Group
Robin Klupp Taylor is Associate Professor for Nanostructured Particles in the Department of Chemical and Bioengineering at the University of Erlangen-Nuremberg (Germany). He obtained his undergraduate (1999) and doctorate (2007) degrees in Engineering and Materials Science at the University of Oxford (UK). In addition to a period of research at Rice University (USA) he spent three years in industry as a research scientist at the Johnson Matthey Technology Centre (UK). His research interests gravitate around colloidal synthesis, in particular that of symmetric and asymmetric multifunctional nanostructures.
